19 June 2012 - Lansons Public Affairs, a division of leading independent consultancy, Lansons Communications, today announces a new partnership with Cambre Associates, a leading independent public affairs and public relations agency based in Brussels.
The partnership sees the two agencies working together to share and refer work, and work together on new business predominantly in the public affairs and public policy arena.
In addition to Lansons’ partnerships with other European public affairs agencies as part of its membership of the PROI (Public Relations Consultancy Organisation International), the link with Cambre gives Lansons another independent option for Brussels lobbying and policy work. The partnership also nicely complements the collaboration Cambre has with other independent firms in the UK.
Cambre is run by Tom Parker and Aart van Iterson, joint co-Partners, and has a staff of around 30.
Ralph Jackson, Lansons’ Interim Head of Public Affairs, said: "The weight of current EU regulation in banking, insurance and asset management alone is reason enough for closer monitoring of issues and events across these and other areas, so Cambre's insight and assistance will be invaluable to us and our clients. We are already working collaboratively on political intelligence for clients, and will be offering additional services in due course so we are excited at developing our relationship with Cambre alongside that of our existing PROI colleagues." Tom Parker added: “Recent developments in financial services demonstrate that the crossover between London and Brussels is intensifying and Cambre is delighted to partner with Lansons to bring the value of our combined insight and expertise to the benefit of our clients.”
