Stakeholder communications through CEFIC Annual Reviews, Media Relations and Long-Range Initiatives Website
Our approach
CEFIC Annual Review - Cambre re-designed the trade association’s annual reports to set out views of and solutions to challenges faced by this major industry, tied into the even larger context of the future of the manufacturing sector in Europe. The copy and visual elements reinforce the image of the chemical industry in Europe as innovative and vibrant. The reports are used as “calling cards” by senior officials of CEFIC and of the wider European chemical industry. Cambre’s partner Landmarks creates the visual design for the reports.
Media Relations – Cambre conducts European media relations with specialist and general press, to communicate CEFIC’s commitment to research into the safe use and environmental impact of chemicals, and to networking with a variety of stakeholders from academia to NGOs to regulators. Cambre has carried out several media relations projects for CEFIC around WHO meetings, and for industry initiatives such as the Long-range Research Initiative and SusChem.
Long-Range Initiatives Web Site – Cambre worked with CEFIC to strengthen and modernise an online information resource for the scientific and research communities on chemicals, health and the environment. First, Cambre carried out a thorough audit of the existing web site and advised on new content and design. The resulting website is more attractive and user-friendly, and includes sub-sites for the Long-Range Initiative Innovative Science Awards and Requests for Proposals. Response from the scientific and research communities has been extremely positive.
