Joanne Scobie
Joanne is an experienced European affairs professional who has been providing strategic advice and communications support to associations and companies in a variety of sectors. Her main areas of experience are in the ICT, entertainment, gambling, hospitality and financial services policy fields. Prior to engaging in public affairs, Joanne gained considerable work experience around the world, including working for the British Council in Santiago de Chile.
At Cambre, Joanne focuses on policy monitoring and analysis on issues relating to transport, ICT, financial services and the internal market. She also works on events management and digital media strategies.
Joanne holds a 1st Class Honours MA in International Relations and Contemporary European Studies from the University of Dundee (Scotland) and also studied at the University of Wrocław (Poland). She is currently studying towards an MSc in Communication and New Media at the Vrije Universiteit in Brussels.
