Cambre Associates’ parent company, the Italian PR firm SEC SpA, has bolstered its communications offer with the acquisition of Poland’s Martis Consulting, strengthening the pan-European SEC Group.

The move will allow SEC Group to offer market-leading public and corporate affairs services to companies operating in Poland.

The deal involves a 60% share capital acquisition of Martis Consulting and is part of the Group’s plans to expand across Europe. Last year, SEC Group took a majority stake in UK public and corporate affairs agency Newington Communications.

Fiorenzo Tagliabue, CEO of SEC, said:

“With this acquisition we are now able to operate in the Eastern European market. In addition, many major European groups operate in Poland to which we can now offer our advice and our services.”

Tom Parker, CEO of Cambre, said:

“We are looking forward to taking our existing collaboration with Martis Consulting to the next level. This latest SEC partnership provides Cambre’s clients with the opportunity to access Martis’ significant expertise of Eastern Europe’s political landscape.”

Martis Consulting is among the top ten consultancies in Poland, working with the majority of blue-chip companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Founded in 2001 by Ewa Baldjyra and Dariusz Jarosz, it has more than 16 years of expertise in the Polish communications market.

Dariusz Jarosz, President of Martis, said:

“The agreement will allow us to acquire further access to the foreign markets on which our customers operate, as well as the opportunity to expand our portfolio with new Polish and foreign customers.”
