Supporting EU and local European Obesity Day campaigns

Cambre was tasked to provide the tools and motivation for country marketing teams to develop initiatives to take advantage of our client’s sponsorship of European Obesity Day.

Our approach

Cambre provided an online platform with ideas and a toolkit of materials for the client’s country teams to adapt and use for country and local initiatives. Tools were included for marketing, government affairs and communications activities. We organised workshops and an extensive briefing annually at a central European location,  following up with bi-monthly webinars.

The result

Country teams throughout Europe use the toolkit and online platform to help them organise customer and media events, and messaging is used extensively on social media. In 2017, media coverage related to the company’s events in connection with European Obesity Day reached more than 100 million people.

An internal award scheme rewards teams for best practice and the initiatives are publicised extensively to the company’s 36,000 employees in during company presentations and in its global employee publications.
